Important! Waiting List Information

In order to provide the best service, Rain City Audio keeps a waiting list for repair appointments. Last updated 6/26/2017, the waiting list for service contains 90 names. (BoseĀ® Active Equalizer Repairs and some similar projects always use a different line and are completed within 2-4 weeks per normal practice.) This page is updated every few weeks as names are added, but the back-end is updated in real time.

With regret, due to the economics of service or lacking the proper equipment Rain City Audio does not generally repair the following:

  • Amateur radio or CB radio transmitters or transceivers
  • Appliances including air conditioners, fans, lamps, microwaves, refrigerators, toasters, and similar
  • Car audio and car electronics
  • CD players, jukeboxes, reel-to-reels, tape decks (cassette or 8-track), and most record players prior to 1970. We partner with a service provider for other record players.
  • Computers, laptops, and IT equipment
  • Most portable transistor radios including lunchbox and shirt-pocket models
  • Video playback/recording equipment including cameras, DVD players, laserdiscs, monitors, projectors, televisions, and VCRs
  • Bang & Olufsen equipment
  • Yamaha CR- Series stereo receivers.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee turnaround times for any repair due to the unique nature of each piece of equipment which comes in for service.

To add yourself to the list, or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send a message!
